Intro

I choose to write to share with family and friends and myself by putting my words onto paper (or digitally online). I can look back when I am older at the memories and be able to still share it with my loved ones. I choose to write and blog knowing I do not want to repeat my past mistake from being involved in the hurricane of 2005 and choosing not to bring my beloved items. I lost a lot of pictures and belongings as a child during the storm and I know I can not change back time to record every favorite memory I had or carry all the albums of photos and videos of my family and my twin. Creating this blog allows me to feel safe and know I can always have a backup so I will never forget and loose a precious memory.

Masquerade Ball @ Brik Venue

The night was amazing and my twin sister was an amazing date and dance partner! I could not have asked for a better dance partner. We were always the crazy ones on the dance floor, we danced like no one was watching and even when they did, we wouldn´t care and never did.

Once we got there, there were two security guards in front and of course they asked for our ID. I´m glad there were a lot of security.
Once we got in it was only $10! That was for a free drink at the bar and amazing food with raffles.
Plus Don´t get me started on the food! They had a dish outside cooking with octopus, and they had people walking offering some pretty exotic amazing food. They even had a cupcake bar!!!

Thank you Selena, for inviting me! I´m glad we all unexpectedly matched! Red looks great on all of us <3

My First Trip to a National Park!

My school offered a trip to Yosemite for the first 10 students who apply. I am beyond grateful I was picked. This trip let me check off several things of my bucket list. The biggest and most exciting ✓ goes to my first plane ride!!

I was devastated that my first plane ride I did not get to share with Thy. We do everything "first" together!

Me and Thy realized that we are truly adventurous creatures. I know that if she was on the plane with me she would have clapped and yelped with joy every time the plane tilted or trembled. My forehead was on the window the entire ride. I feel sorry for whoever tries to look through the window next... all they'll see is face oil.

From DFW Airport we landed in San Fransiscoooooooo!!! Woooh!
It was not until the next day I was able to explore Yosemite.

The most exciting part of the drive was knowing the fact that if we made the wrong turn, our van would have easily took a scary yet beautiful fall to our death. Thank goodness for the rails that covered 2/3 of the car ride.

Why yes, yes, I do struggle to take a normal photo. Eating must come first.

The best way to explore through Yosemite!

Life on the Edge.
Strongly recommend to everyone.

The hike up was extremely difficult, I blame the view..
It was breathtaking!
Worth each step.

That night we stayed on top of Glacier Point and that night I witnessed all of the stars man kind could ever see shine right before my eyes. Every moment I stayed looking up, I felt like I was floating in the sky.

On our last day before boarding on San Francisco Airlines, I got to explore through the city's scary streets (they are all just vertical slopes!).

Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Factory!!!

I was greatly blessed by Texas Woman's University Fitness and Recreation Center.Thank You TWU for this Beautiful Trip!
